Christmas 2010

Hello!
and a happy New Year 2011!
The holidays are over and seccretly we are all happy that I'm back at school again.
Christmas was lovely! We had lots and lots of presents at home in teh morning. (I was already and dressed at 6:30 and had to wait until 7 before I could get the lazy grown ups to come down with me!) My bestest present then were my calendar and tinker bell DVD.
In the afternoon we went to Nanny and Grandad for a great dinner. And guess what I got there ?!!...A musical jewellery box!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! It's all I tell people these days and I will bring it into school to show :) We did games and I watched telly with the men when Mama and Nanny took Esmee for a walk+sleep. We all had a great day! It was nice to hear all the Dutch-ies too on the phone and tell them what I got :)

It was all over in a flash, but luckily Daddy was off for 5 days, so we still got some nice things to do together.

December-boxes of fun!

Hiya!
I would like to show the sinterklaas pictures from our 'pakjes avond'. We all got lots and lots of presents!
Daddy acidentally erased all the pictures of Mama's camera, but he has a new toy now (i-pod touch) and luckily he took some on there and we have them now.

I also had my hair cut and now my hair is like princess hair when it is brushed-all shiny!

Mama turned up with a big box after Sinterklaas and it gives us lots of fun!
It's Esmee's play pen for now, hide-n-seek box, colouring box- whatever we wnat :)

Just before Christmas Mama got a breadmaker and that box was very cosy and warm for me to sit in too :)

Near the end of the school term I was getting very tired - I even had a temerature one evening! And I couldn't talk nicely to people anymore and only watch telly, so I stayed at home 2 days to get better again. It worked and I was all ready to be an angel in our school's Christmas play :)
After a day of telly mama and I went to the park to find things to make our own wreath with- it looks nice, doesn't it? We only things we found 'recycled'. We also made recycled cards for people and stars from magazine paper ;)

We bought a new highchair for Esmee
so she can join us at the table for dinner better- she likes a lot of things!

Esmee sits up and prepares to crawl! (but when this is written she can do al lot more already!!!)

At school we had real reindeer visiting us and we even had Father Christmas one day!! We also got to go the theatre and watch 'stickman' being played- that was good fun! I have the story book at home.

I can't wait for Christmas!! And I keep asking mama how many more days :)
First school has to finish and then we have a minced pie party at Amelie's and a look in a museum with mama before it's that day!

In the mean time I practise putting on my glitter 'make-up' :)

november- snow & sinterklaas!

November started with having bannock (=bread on stick cooked on open fire) and soup with Patrick and Lucietta for Halloween :) That was great and tasty! We put glow sticks on the washing line and me and Lucietta had glow necklaces.

A fun day in the snow the weekend just gone with the very first snow this winter!
Going down the hill, holding Esmee on the sledge and making a huuuuge snowlady with daddy. then having food in a pub :)

And then meeting Sinterklaas after I saw him arrive in Holland on the telly and putting my shoe out! I painted my face brown to be like a real zwarte piet and helped by giving a key back which I found in my shoe! (huis piet had lost it in the pepernoten dough)

Also helped Esmee eating and drinking now she is sitting at the table with us-it's really good fun seeing here eat!
And I often get 'married to a man called Adam' these days. Mama is not too happy with that, but I love him :)
Mama has glasses to read now and Nanny has popped around more too-I love my Nanny!

November is great so far :)

Wait til I show you December soon, because there are lots of things planned then!
